Leanne Van Lare

Leanne Van Lare is the founder of WeStandStrong Staffing LLC, a nurse owned staffing agency for healthcare professionals that offer staffing assistance to healthcare facilities located in Upstate New York.

A 44 yr old mother of three with a background in healthcare, she used her own personal experiences, to establish a company that would offer what she felt was missing from the healthcare field. From starting out as a Certified Nurses Assistant in 1998 to establishing her own company in 2021, she has personally experienced the reality of the healthcare industry. She realized that teamwork was almost non-exist, which ultimately was contributing to staff burnout. She also recognized her fellow co-workers dissatisfaction with the lack of staff appreciation. She realized at that moment that if she could establish a company that promotes teamwork and shows staff appreciation, she'd be offering a solution to not only her teammates, but to the communities she serves.

Her hopes for this journey is to reestablish teamwork in healthcare, while also ensuring that each staff member knows they are appreciated! This in turn will minimize staff burnout and loss of talent in the industry of healthcare.

Something people would be interested to know about me is that I grew up in the foster care system the majority of my life. I hope to one day develop a non-profit organization for foster children that would give them a safe haven during the holiday seasons.
